Jane E. Burke Lincoln, Nebraska
Jane Burke was born in Imperial, Nebraska, on May 9, 1956. She received her undergraduate degree in education and taught school for 6 years before going on to law school at the University of Nebraska. After graduation, Jane clerked for the Nebraska Supreme Court for Acting Justice William Colwell and Justice Dale E. Fahrenbruch. In 1999, Jane completed her Masters of Arts degree in Education Administration. Jane started her own law practice in 1989. She had a general practice of law until 2003 when she joined the firm in the "Of Counsel" status. Jane continues to work with law enforcement officers throughout the State of Nebraska. She has taught law classes at the College of Saint Mary's as well as lecturing on officers' rights in various forums. Jane has a special interest in matters of law enforcement. She and her husband, Andrew Strotman, have three daughters. Jane enjoys supporting her family in all of their activities, playing and exercising with her five pets, and gardening.
