Paul Peter grew up in Grand Island, Nebraska, and attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney, where he graduated with honors in 1981. Mr. Peter received his legal training at the University of Nebraska College of Law where he served as an editor of The Nebraska Law Review. He graduated in 1984 and joined the firm that same year.
Mr. Peter’s fields of special interest are corporate law, taxation, estate planning, and bankruptcy. He also has extensive experience in the nonprofit corporation and student loan sectors of law. Mr. Peter represents a number of privately held and nonprofit companies in Nebraska and throughout the Midwest. He has counseled his clients in organizational and structural issues, mergers and acquisitions, as well as ongoing business and contractual relationships.
Mr. Peter is a member of the American, Nebraska State, and Lincoln Bar Associations, and is a member of the United States Tax Court. He and his wife, Tamara, have two children.
