Milissa Johnson-Wiles joined the firm in 2022. Milissa graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1995 and spent 8 years in private practice focusing on business litigation, family law and juvenile law before joining the Nebraska Department of Justice as an Assistant Attorney General in 2003. Milissa’s responsibilities at the Nebraska Department of Justice included enforcement of a variety of public protection laws and an extensive appellate practice before the Nebraska Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. She served as Chief of the Civil and Administrative Enforcement Section from 2014-2022. She was an honored recipient of the 2017 Excellence in Leadership Award for the State of Nebraska.

Milissa has served as President of the Lincoln Bar Association, member of the Nebraska State Bar Association House of Delegates, member of the NSBA Judicial Resources Committee, and member of the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Nebraska Supreme Court and Court of Appeals.

Milissa was born in Minden, Nebraska. After a brief time in Montana while her father was in the Air Force, Milissa grew up in Lincoln before moving to Seward and graduating from Seward High School. Milissa and her husband Paul have made Lincoln their home since they married in 1991. They have two children, Katherine and Everett.
