Bio

Tara Gardner-Williams grew up in Schuyler and Columbus, Nebraska, the only daughter in a hardworking family, and by the time she was eight years old had decided she would be a lawyer. After working her way through college earning dual two Bachelors of Science with distinction and her law degree, Tara established a private law practice emphasizing family law.

Tara joined the firm in 2014. Tara continues to focus on all aspects of family law, counseling and representing clients in legal separation, divorce, pre-nuptial arrangements, paternity, custody and child support disputes.

Tara has been recognized by the Nebraska State Bar Association with the Robert M. Spire Pro Bono Award, conferred annually to one Nebraska lawyer exemplifying dedication to public service, for her outstanding contributions to volunteering legal services for the poor; and by the Nebraska Supreme Court Access to Justice Commission.

Tara is a trained Mediator for Family Law disputes and Secretary of the Nebraska State Bar Association’s Family Law Section.
